Description:  Join us at the Rio Theatre on Sunday, February 28 to recognize Women In Horror Month with a screening of Jennifer Kent’s critically acclaimed (not to mention terrifying) take on every parent’s worst nightmare, THE BABADOOK, followed by this year’s bloody brilliant crop of WiHM’s blood-drive public service announcements.

For seven years, local horror mavens Jen and Sylvia Soska (aka ‘The Twisted Twins’) have worked with WiHM by lending their talent and voice to the month-long celebration of the achievements of women in the horror genre by producing the annual PSA series, which features short films created by talented feminist filmmakers to encourage blood donation.
